What is Brain Awareness Week?
Brain Awareness Week is an international initiative aimed at promoting public interest and backing for brain research. Each March, individuals organize creative events in their local areas to showcase the marvels of the brain and how brain science influences our daily routines.
Organizers of these events range from educational institutions like colleges and universities, hospitals, and K-12 schools to advocacy groups, outreach organizations, professional associations, government agencies, corporations, and various others.

Grounded CafΓ© Food Truck will be serving from 3 to 6 pm. Anyone 60 and over is eligible to participate at a suggested contribution rate of $5/meal. For more information, stop by the ADRC table to register.

3:30 pm-4:15 pm - Our Aging Brains
Caring for someone with dementia isnβt intuitiveβbut it can be learned. Dementia Care Solutions & The Brain Center of Green Bay provides tools and insights to support those living with brain changes. In this session, learn the difference between typical aging and signs of concern, helping you navigate brain health with confidence.

Celebrate 7 years of fighting Parkinsonβs with the Rock Steady team! Certified coaches lead exercises targeting balance, posture, strength, voice activation, and cognitive workβplus punching heavy and speed bags. Join us for an empowering and energizing session.
4:45 pm-5:30 pm - Cooking Demo with The Farmacy
Chef Lauren Posa, brain health advocate and owner of The Farmacy, will share her expertise in brain-healthy cooking. Diagnosed with a brain disease six years ago, Lauren has transformed her passion for food into a journey of health and education. Donβt miss this deliciously informative demonstration.
5:30 pm-6:00 pm - Movement Break
Dance your way to better brain health with Lisa Pritzel, Wisconsinβs only certified Dance for PD instructor. Empowered by Movement combines music, movement, and connection to improve balance, gait, and mental well-being. Celebrate 7 years of inclusive dance that inspires and heals.
6:15 pm-7:00 pm - Treble Alliance: Irish Dancers
